For men fat percents over 25% and for women fat percents over 32% are bad. These levels can cause illness and disease. The illness and disease can include high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease and stroke. High body fat is now considered a major factor for coronary heart disease, which can lead to you having a heart attack. You may be asking yourself, I am over weight, now what? There are several things you can do, but the most import ones are to start eating right and start exercising. You heard me, there are several so called quick fixes out there, but you want to be healthy! To be healthy you must eat a balance diet, exercise and drink lots of water. You will want to start out slow; you did not get over weigh over night. So, do not expect to get in shape over night. Twenty minutes of physical activity three days a week is all you need.
